1. Read Ezekiel 22:30 and explain the biblical metaphor of “standing in the gap.” What is the picture, and what is thespiritual application?
2. Read the first twenty-nine verses of Ezekiel 22. What was causing the “gaps” in the wall and what were the impendingconsequences (22:31)? What are potential“gaps” in the walls of our families and lives?
3. Give some examples of biblical characters who stood in the gap (i.e., interceded onbehalf of others). How can we stand inthe gap for others?
